Clematis “Tangutica”
Vivid lemon yellow flowers add colour to the garden, and provide food for bees. They also have a pretty, downward facing lantern shape that adds a fairyland atmosphere to the garden
More Information
An eager climber that can be trained over trellises and arbors. Grows rapidly – takes only a year or two to reach its 12 – 16 foot length. Unique fall interest from the fluffy seed heads. Can thrive in soil that is less than ideal. Not prone to disease, and is suitable for pesticide-free gardens. Does not need a lot of water. I give mine a quick drink if there is a lack of rain for two weeks during the heat of the summer.
A tough plant that can survive to growing zones 3 – 10
