These heirloom peppers are also known as ‘Peruvian White Habanero’ is a lovely and rare variety that is hard to come by and said to originate from Peru.
These fiery hot jelly bean shaped peppers grow on small, but very high yielding bushy pepper plants with the creamy-white colored pods measuring about 2 inches long.
If you like searing hot peppers, this could be the one for you as they have been rated at over 300,000 Scoville heat units. These awesomely hot peppers have a distinctive smoky flavor and the creamy-white fruits make for striking plants.
Start seeds indoors 6 – 8 weeks prior to transplant in warm sunny location. Germination time can take up to 2 weeks, please be patient. Germination of these seeds will require consistent heat, moist soil and a good quality seed starting mix. *These are a rare specialty pepper and do require a little more care with germination*
Depending on your growing season you may want to start seeds a couple weeks earlier as maturity is around 90 days, peppers will continue as long as the heat and sun continues.
