Snapdragons

Snapdragons have stalks of brightly colored flowers up to 3 ft in height. They start blooming at the bottom of the stalk and work their way up. The common name derives from the way the flowers look like opening mouths when they are pressed on their sides. The flowers are fragrant and make a great cut flower. Considered a tender perennial, but most commonly grown as annuals - often self seeding.
