Heirloom -1957 Deep rich purple pods that are tender enough to eat raw.
Lightly steamed will retain color also. When boiled the beans will turn green when ready. Steady producer all season. Tender string-less crisp beans that are very easy and reliable to grow. Grown in compact bushes 2 – 3 feet tall.
Plant in full sun in warm fertile soil in spring, about 1″ deep.
4 seeds per hill 4″ apart in rows of 8″ apart for best production. 55 days till maturity.
Approximately 40 seeds per package
