This rare heirloom variety has a medium heat at maturity, much milder in the first 30 days. Ruddy red in color with bright green accent, this fast grower is ideal for baby greens. Thrives in fall and spring conditions. Also used as steamed greens, like spinach or added to soup, they are never bitter.
Direct seed ¼ inch deep in fertile soil, sunny location. Cold hardy – can be planted as a fall crop or in spring.
Approximately 50 – 60 seeds per package.
