With its big, broad blue-green leaves and sweet flavor, dinosaur kale (Brassica oleracea “Lacinato”) is a favorite among gardeners and consumers, developed in Italy in the late 19th century. Also known as “Toscano”.
Plant dinosaur kale seeds three to four weeks before the last frost date in the prepared garden bed. Push kale seeds 1/2″ deep space seeds 4″ apart in rows that are about 8 to 12″ apart. Growing to about 3′ tall shaped like a palm tree with long textured leaves. 65 days to maturity.
Approximately 60+ heirloom organic seeds per package.
