Earth Chestnut Both tubers and leaves of this plant are edible. Once commonly cultivated in central Europe, it seems to have been almost forgotten today. The Earth chestnut produces a thick crown of delicious greens and small crunchy tubers with no starch, cook like potatoes.

Sow early Spring indoors. Pot up the seedlings into individual pots as soon as the first true leaf appears and plant them out after the last expected frosts. Mulch well first season till established.
Perennial vegetable, all parts of this plant are edible.
Approximately 25-20 heirloom and organic seeds per package.
