Wonderful and amazing looking dual purpose heirloom beet – use for the nutrient rich tops and the root. Bull’s Blood leaf colour gets darker as the leaf gets larger and adds unusual texture and color to the flower garden. If you don’t cut the leaves you can harvest uniform, round, red beetroots.
Harvest Beet tops at about 30 days and roots 55-60 days.
Sow seeds in warm fertile soil ¼” deep in Spring, may need thinning.
Approximately 50 Heirloom Organic seeds per package.
