The Aji Limon Pepper was virtually unknown in the West until about 1990, native to western South America.
The bright yellow, crinkled, cone-shaped fruits are about 2½” long and 1/2″ wide and mature from green to yellow color, citrus/lemony flavors are abundant, and at ~100,000 scoville heat units these peppers have a good amount of heat.
Start seeds indoors 6 – 8 weeks prior to transplant in warm sunny location. Germination time can take up to 2 weeks, please be patient. Germination of these seeds will require consistent heat, moist soil and a good quality seed starting mix. *These are a rare specialty pepper and do require a little more care with germination*
Depending on your growing season you may want to start seeds a couple weeks earlier as maturity is at least 100 days, peppers will continue as long as the heat and sun continues.
15 Heirloom/Organic seeds per package.
